The Silver Creek Recreation Area encompasses 26.6 acres in the northwest corner of the Township. The size and location of this site make it especially suited for community recreation. It is classified as a sports complex and community park. The southeast portion of the site is developed, while an undeveloped trail system and a disc golf course (built in 2012) is interspersed throughout the forested western and northern portion.
